You've now reached the "business" part of my website. This is where I will try to convince you to order a design job from me. I know, you have some questions, so I've made this fairly easy for you.
Who are you?
As you might have figured out, my name is Carl Franzon. I'm an information design student, so you can imagine I have a lot of spare time to do freelance design jobs.
I have had a webdesign firm, Bisdat, together with a friend since 1999, making websites, so I know how to deal with clients, and I've grown up with each new web technology as it's developed.
But are you any good?
I'd like to think so. However, you might wanna take a look at my different portfolio sites above and see for yourself.
Can I trust you?
This short answer is yes, you can. The longer answer is that my other firm, Bisdat, has got what in Sweden is called "F-skattesedel." This basically means that we pay our own taxes and we are allowed to send invoices. Yes, that's right, I don't work for free. It also means we are legit.
What's all this talk about Bisdat? It seems fishy...
It's not so weird. As I don't have a personal firm, yet, for my design jobs, whereas Bisdat has all the necessary documentation and accounts, I'm simply going to use Bisdat as the company sending the invoice, but use my own name as the face to the public. You will pay to Bisdat, but the money goes to me. All happy. This way, I don't have to start another business with all the bureaucracy, and you don't need to emply me and save money. Sounds good, huh?
I'm convinced, what now?
Well, the first thing is for you to contact me. this can be done in many ways, but the far easiest is to send me an email. You will find my contact information further down on this page.
If we agree on a job, we usually set up a meeting and discuss things face-to-face. I listen to your demands and wishes and come with suggestions. I take this with me home and begin the design work. This is when the magic happens. I come up with a design prototype which, after you've okay'ed it, functions as my reference for the rest of the job. If you want to, my job ends here, with a printable or publishable file, sent to you in the format of your choice.
But it doesn't have to end there, I can also take care of registering your domain, updating your webpage, printing those business cards, or whatever you need done to finish your products. I will take your idea to a finished product.
